WeatherTech Auto Floor Mats Installation - 2024 GMC Sierra 1500- Video

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're gonna take a look at the front and rear WeatherTech floor liner mats on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. What WeatherTech mats are gonna do for you, it's gonna actually give you more coverage area than your OEM mat. Generally the space is gonna just cover the floor, whereas with the WeatherTech, it's gonna go all the way up the sides of the walls. What that means for you, it's gonna give you more surface area, protecting the carpet in those high traffic areas with people getting in and out of your truck. The measuring for the contours of the mat itself is a proprietary laser measuring system that allows for it to be a perfect fit to just slide right into place. As far as the channels, these are gonna allow for water or snow or ice that may come off of your boots to collect instead of soaking into the carpet. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com taking a look at the WeatherTech all-weather front and rear floor mats on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. The all-weather floor mats are gonna fit pretty precisely to the inside of your floor board. They are measured using WeatherTech's proprietary laser measuring system, and that's gonna allow it to fit right into place. You may notice this additional material that's here that shows that it should be trimmed. Since it's just a demonstration, I didn't cut it off 'cause it's going back in the box, but when you receive yours, just a pair of scissors will cut right through that, and then it'll fit a little bit more snugly right here in this position. As you can see, you have the channels in the mat that go to the reservoir. more

It goes up behind our peddles quite far to give us great coverage and optimal protection of our carpet with these nice 1/8" deep channels to help divert rain, dirt, snow, and mud away from our feet so we don't worry about slipping and sliding as we're getting in and out of the vehicle or have to worry about our feet slipping off of our pedals as we drive.Both of our mats have the same great features with our channels. They both are made of a rubberized copolymer construction, which won't crack, fade, or break over the course of time. As you can see, we have complete coverage over our driver's side floor area with a raised edge that goes along our perimeter of the mat. We have a raised edge continuing along our transmission tunnel as well, and this will help contain any spills that may occur, protecting our carpet underneath.We have full coverage behind our peddles and up our firewall that way when we're resting our feet while we're driving we don't have to worry about getting our carpet dirty.We have these nice heels pads by our gas peddle and our break peddle, so when we're resting our feet, we have these thicker areas that help prevent our mat from getting worn through and the carpet underneath it as well.The one by our break peddle here even has a grip pattern on it to help provide us with extra traction so if our feet our wet we don't have to worry about them sliding off the break peddle.Behind our padded areas we have these channels right here, which will help divert any water away from our feet. That way our feet will be dry when we're operating our peddles and we won't have to worry about tracking this in and out of the vehicle, potentially causing us to slip getting in and out of the vehicle as well, too.Our mat extends up and over our threshold right here giving us expanded coverage so we don't have to worry about any water going underneath the mat and on to the carpet.Additionally, our mat does take advantage of the factory floor mat retention hooks here and here, giving us a nice sturdy clip in so we don't have to worry about the mat slipping around on us inside the vehicle. Today on our 2013 GMC Sierra 3500 we're going to be taking a look at the Husky Liners Weather Beater Custom Auto Floor Liners for the front and rear in black, part number HL98231. They're also available in tan, using part number HL98233. Also in gray using part number HL98232. Now, the really nice thing about these mats as you can see is that they do extend far past the point where you're going to have your feet, so we know that all the moisture, dirt, and debris is going to stay on our mat and stay off of our carpet, and they're going to keep the interior of our truck clean, and be a nice upgrade from our factory mats. Now, our mats are custom molded to all the lines in our truck, and they're going to follow over each one of the cracks and crevices perfectly. Now, they are a semi-rigid mat, so they're going to hold their shape pretty well but also lay nicely against the floor. The raised edges on our mat are going to keep the moisture on the mat and away from our carpet and its specifically designed heel stops and pads are a nice addition so we can always make sure that our feet have a nice secure grip whenever we're working our pedals. Now, underneath our mat we're going to have several stay-put nibs all over the bottom, which is going to grab the carpet and keep it in place. more

Today on our 2017 GMC Sierra 3500, we're going to be taking a look at the Husky Liners WeatherBeater custom auto floor liner for the second row in black, part number HL19231. Now, they're also available in gray using part number HL19232, and in tan using part number HL19233. Here's what our Husky Liners rear floor mats look like once they're fully installed, and they going to give us nice coverage and keep the interior clean, while also being a nice upgrade from our factory mats. Now our mats are molded perfectly to the vehicle, and they're made of semi-rigid construction, so they're going to keep their shape, but also be flexible enough to grab the floor of our truck. The channels in our floor liner are going to have the water and moisture and stay toward the center while the raised side walls are going to keep the water and dirt off of our carpet. These ribs right here are specifically designed to keep your feet off of the water and out of it, but still have nice traction and good grip so we can firmly get in and out of our truck. Now the material is a rubberized thermo-plastic, so it's going to hold up to extreme temperatures, and it won't crack under any kind of conditions. It's also going to be very resistant to most automotive chemicals, including oil, gasoline, and even road salt. One thing I really like about these liners is they extend beyond, underneath the seat, so even if we have a passenger in the back here, and they put their feet out, it still going to have nice coverage and keep our carpet nice and clean. The other nice factor is they don't stop right underneath the seat. more

WeatherTech Front Floor Liners Review - 2013 GMC Sierra- Video

Today, in our 2013 GMC Sierra, we'll be having a look at the WeatherTech front auto floor mats in tan, part number WT450661. They're also available in gray as part number WT460661, and in black WT440661. All right, here's what our floor mat looks like installed. You'll notice we have these nice ridges here and channels to help divert any water away from our feet. One thing that you'll notice is that our floor mat extends way up our firewall here behind our pedals, giving us the maximum amount of coverage and protection for our carpet. It follows all the contours of our vehicle nicely because of the nice laser measurements WeatherTech takes when designing their mats. Comes well up over our threshold here, so we don't have to worry about anything getting underneath the mat and damaging the carpet below it. You'll also notice that this mat has a raised edge around the entire perimeter of it to help contain any spills that may occur. Our passenger floor mat features many of the same features as our driver's side, giving us superior coverage especially up the firewall here. So when our passenger stretches out on a long road trip, we don't have to worry about their feet damaging the carpet. All right, the first step, we're going to go ahead and remove the factory floor mats on the driver's and passenger side. We'll go ahead and take our liners, slide them into place. I'd like to note here that while you're putting this in place you want to be careful of the stay put nibs at the bottom. While they do keep the actual mat in place and keep it from shifting around, it can hurt the fingers when you're trying to install this. more

WeatherTech Rear Floor Liner Review - 2013 GMC Terrain- Video

Today on our 2013 GMC Terrain, we're going to be taking a look at the Weather Tech second row auto floor mats in black. Part number WT442712. What I really like the most about these floor mats is that it gives you that extra coverage both up underneath the front seats and all the way back against the fronts of the rear seats, and you get that extra coverage across the center. Overall I really like the fit, and the extra coverage that you get from these floor mats. Here we've got the factory floor mats in the rear of the vehicle. As you can see this vehicle is kept pretty well clean, but if you look over here at the edges of the floor mat you can see that there is a little bit of debris that's able to escape that. more
